RigVerified ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent lead generation and referral platform connecting commercial motor carriers with service providers in the trucking industry. 2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Full name and company/business name
• Phone number and email address
• State of operation
• Services you are interested in
• DOT number (when provided or pre-filled from FMCSA public records)

We also collect standard web data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited through cookies and analytics tools.

• To connect you with service providers based on your stated needs
• To send you relevant communications about services you requested
• To improve our platform and services
• To comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your contact information only with providers in the specific service categories you selected. To protect your experience and reduce spam, we limit provider sharing within each service category — your information is not sold to multiple competing providers in the same industry vertical.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties.

5. Consent to Contact

By submitting a form on our platform, you expressly consent to be contacted by RigVerified and its partner providers by phone, text message (SMS), or email regarding the services you selected. 6. FMCSA Data & How We Process It

Some contact information used on this platform is sourced from publicly available federal government databases maintained by the FMCSA. This data is public record. RigVerified is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FMCSA or any government agency.

Before any FMCSA record enters our system, it must pass all of the following criteria:

• Active carrier status — only carriers with an active FMCSA operating authority are included.
• 1–2 power units — only small owner-operators with 1 or 2 trucks. Larger fleets are excluded.
• Valid phone number — must have a real, dialable US phone number. Format is validated using Google's libphonenumber library.
• Email address present — records without a listed email address are excluded entirely.
• Valid DOT number and authority date — required for identification and classification.

Records that pass these filters are classified into three tiers based on how long ago their operating authority was issued: Fresh (0–30 days), Recent (31–90 days), or Established (90+ days).

Additionally, when records are made available to data buyers through RigVerified Data:

• Carriers who have unsubscribed are permanently excluded from all exports.
• Carriers recently contacted through our outreach system are held for 7 days before being made available.
• Each record is sold to only one buyer per industry vertical — it will not be resold to a competitor in the same industry.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is stored on secured servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@rigverified.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
